Back in Action IPA

This crisp and clean IPA was brewed to celebrate the GDBC’s return to operations after a very long hiatus. Packed with notes of grapefruit, pine, coconut, and tropical fruit, this IPA harkens back to our very first batch brewed over ten years ago.

While we’re not yet able to resume full operations, we’re doing everything we can to make sure that you’re able to enjoy delicious beers from the passionate volunteer staff of Green Dragon Brewing.

East Side Bitter (ESB)

This English ale comes to the Eastside of Portland, as part of the latest in the Garagleand series. Inspired by the brewers of Burton-on-Trent, this ale is built on traditional British roots using a single-step infusion mash, combining floor malted Halcyon Barley malt, biscuit, crystal, and a touch of chocolate malt. This amber ale delivers notes of bread and biscuit, with restrained toffee flavors, all balanced with the perfect trio of Northern Brewer, Fuggle and Willamette hops – and Burtonized water for an authentic experience.

Drachenrauch – Dragon’s Smoke

This traditional smoked Märzen is part of the Garageland series from one of our newest GD brewers. Brewed for the last ten years in a small garage in SW Portland, this recipe has been scaled up, cleaned up, and has gotten some new boots.

Utilizing a single decoction mash, and built on a hearty base of Weyermann Smoked Malt, this lager provides a depth of balance between the beechwood smoke profile that carries throughout and the elegant and clean German amber lager character.

So get out your b*!l$#it detector and have a pint or two!
