Strong Armed Ale

This is an American Strong Ale that is hop forward with a surprisingly malty finish. Malts included Mecca Grade Pelton, Maris Otter, Munich, Flaked Barley, Victory and Special B. Centennial hops were used for bittering, Centennial/Willamette for flavor and Willamette for aroma and the yeast was Imperial Joystick. This was a homebrew recipe brewed by Chris (Amanda’s dad) since the mid ‘90s and was converted from a 5 gallon batch size to the Green Dragon system.

This ale is the perfect embodiment of Alex-Louis Armstrong, also known as the Strong Armed Alchemist.  The backbone of the Centennial and Willamette hops create the familiar sturdiness that we all know and love.  Finishing off the beer is the malt sweetness that echoes Armstrong’s kindness towards others, something that is unexpected from an American Strong Ale.

Downtown Cherry Brown

This tasty treat is the result of a collaboration with the Green Dragon Brewers and BEER Kakurega. We used Mecca Grade Pelton and Troubadour Moonlight Serenade to bring a rich and complex flavor to the beer. 5 lbs of tart cherry puree from Oregon Fruit Products and a light touch of cinnamon finish this bad boy off.
This is a very special release as all proceeds from the sale of the beer go to the ALS Association to fund ALS research.

Jaggery IPA

The tropical flavors of palm sugar (Jaggery) mixed with sweet malt from Gambrinus combine to produce a tangy IPA for a hot afternoon. Magnum hops are used for bittering and a generous portion of fresh Casdade leaf hops for aroma near the end of the boil to produce a fresh citrus flavor to blend with the jaggery and malt. Clear, clean, and tropically refreshing, Jaggery IPA is great on a hot afternoon.

Flat Out Spring Stout

We humbly present to you a rich and flavorful stout with notes of chocolate and roasted coffee.

For this beer, we took our Black Dragon imperial pumpkin stout recipe and removed the pumpkin and lowered the ABV. It is a very pleasant and smooth drinking beer, perfect for a nice cool summer evening on the patio. Give it a try!
