Descent Into Darkness (2015)

Big Beer Month continues with the last known keg of 2015’s Descent Into Darkness!

This legend from the depths was brewed on Feb 4, 2014 by the Green Dragon Brewers, aged in a Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey barrel, then packaged and left to age in the cellar for almost five years. The time in the cellar has tamed this giant, smoothing out the dark malt’s tannins and mellowing the hops a bit, yet this full bodied, malt driven Russian Imperial Stout still packs a punch at 9.8% ABV.
