Five malts were blended with the base malt to produce this big, wintery, Russian Imperial Stout. The resulting beer was aged for twenty months to smooth out the bite of the large malt bill and produce this smooth but big ol’ stout for Big Beer Month, 2020. The complexity of the grain bill shines through the smooth magnum hop bitter and results in a meld of chocolate, malt, and a touch of vanilla flavors riding on a backbone of a rich, full bodied stout.
