Finally IPA

The first beer the Green Dragon Brewers produced for the Green Dragon was called “Finally” after the long struggle to make a beer at the pub and the result (Finally). Tonight we have the return of Finally IPA. It is the original recipe brewed by the original brewers and tonight, 450 beers later is the return of Finally IPA. A malt driven beer with a lot of hops give you that old time hop burn. Magnum, Cascade and Simcoe hops provide a clean bitterness with a flavor of the pine and citrus. Yet the malt, hops and alcohol meld together with a nice balance the average hop-head will enjoy. An IPA for the Fall season seems appropriate and Finally is here just in time for the 10th anniversary of the Green Dragon Brewers (party on November 9th, 2-6pm!).

Black Dragon Imperial Pumpkin Stout

To get you excited for this weekend’s Killer Pumpkin Fest to benefit Camp Ukando, this autumn seasonal is big, black, and delicious! Subtle flavor from 15 lbs of pumpkin in the mash and boil, combined with pumpkin pie spices, cinnamon and a generous amount of dark malt, make this a very special beer. Full-bodied, smooth and roasty, this is the perfect beer for Halloween!

Festbier

Celebrate the flavor of Fall with this year’s Festbier from the Green Dragon Brewers. A crisp German-style lager, assertive in strength, and balanced by traditional Continental malts with a clean, smooth, noble hop finish. Prost!

Amarillo Fresh Hop IPA

For this year’s fresh hop beer, we traveled down to Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon and picked up over 20lbs of fresh Amarillo hops from the hop farms operated by Coleman Farms.

The melon, stone fruit, and citrus aromas from the Amarillos are paired with spicy, fruity UK hops, malt, and yeast for a complex and flavorful mix of UK and US IPA styles.
